I just saw a staged home after having been in it in "real life"….made a HUGE difference. Totally showed the home's potential and the owners wished they'd been living like that all along!

I like the idea of not having to hire a stager but having a friend walk thru and give their viewpoints.
It's amazing the difference some good staging makes! My friend did this with her house that wasn't selling and had an offer within a week. Such good points!
I think "staging" your house, even while you are living in it, can help reduce clutter and make it more organized too. A great idea, whether selling your house or not!
